You can't control every trigger or prevent every hard moment. But you can learn to respond in ways that build safety, connection, and confidence, creating regulation and joy.

Is Your Child Refusing, Resisting, or Melting Down, No Matter How Hard You Try?

What if the answer isn’t doing more, but connecting differently?

You spend so much time trying to help your child eat, participate, communicate, transition, or try something new. And when nothing seems to work, it’s easy to wonder, “What am I doing wrong?”

The Green Bean Protocol helps you understand what may be underneath your child’s resistance and shows you how to use safety, connection, and play to create a foundation for change without more pressure, battles, or guilt.

You’re Used to Being the One Who Figures Things Out.

You’re a capable, successful woman.

You solve problems.
You make decisions.
You advocate.
You keep things moving.

But autism parenting can feel different.

You're carrying the appointments, the advocacy, the sensory needs, the emotional labor, your career, your family—and the constant question:

“Am I doing enough?”

You may have spent years investing in your child's support while putting your own needs at the bottom of the list.

And you're tired.

You don't need another person telling you to do more.

You need a framework that actually works for your kid AND you.

What If Connection Comes Before Change?

But what if the answer isn't doing more? What if it's changing how you connect?

Because real change doesn't begin with pushing harder.

The Green Bean Protocol: Connection Before Change

A practical, connection-first approach inspired by my experience with my autistic son, Miguel.

Meet Dr. Yolanda Bogaert

Physician | Coach | Coach

Hi, I'm Yolanda Bogaert, MD.

Physician. Coach. Mom.

When my autistic son, Miguel stopped speaking and flinched at my touch, he wasn’t the only one having meltdowns.

I spiraled into severe grief and anxiety about what Miguel’s future would look like and shame that even with all my medical and scientific training, I couldn’t seem to help

Miguel, no matter how much I pushed.

And then the moment that changed me, realizing my emotions dysregulated Miguel. This sparked an entire change in my approach to parenting.

Today, I combine my lived experience and expertise as a physician, neuroscientist to give high-achieving moms a system, the ReCentered Mom coaching, for co-emotional regulation so that you connect with your kids, mealtimes, transitions are easier and daily life isn’t a struggle but a life you can relax and live into.

Physician-led.
Neuroscience-based.
Neurodiversity-affirming.
